The policy has the following purposes: (i) to reinforce UN Women’s commitment towards protecting all personnel from prohibited conduct; (ii) to ensure that all personnel are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a workplace free of any form of prohibited conduct; (iii) to outline measures designed to prevent prohibited conduct; (iv) to describe mechanisms for reporting prohibited conduct; (v) to describe the consequences of committing prohibited conduct; and (v) to detail the support provided to those who are affected by prohibited conduct.
