The Special Tripartite Committee of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 adopted a resolution related to bullying and harassment of seafarers, including sexual assault and sexual harassment during its fourth meeting in May 2022. It recognizes the serious impact harassment and bullying can have on seafarers and the need for the issue to be addressed within the maritime industry.
